How to Clean a Mitsubishi split air conditioning

A unit split air conditioning unit has a wall mounted inside a house or apartment and another unit for air and cool. The indoor unit delivers air only, so do not make much noise (see Reference 1). A Mitsubishi split AC unit should be cleaned to continue operating conditions as other units like. Filter cleaning is the largest for the unit (see Reference 2) consideration.

You will need

  • A mild detergent
  • A cloth
  • A vacuum cleaner

Instructions

  1. Remove the front panel of the unit split air conditioning Mitsubishi. Dampen a cloth and pass it through the panel to remove any residual dust or accumulated dirt.
  2. Remove the air filter unit pulling a small handle. Vacuum the filter to remove any surface dust. Moisten the filter in a solution of one teaspoon of mild detergent and warm water for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse with clean water until the filter clean pass. Let it air dry in the shade before replacing the unit.
  3. Remove the air cleaning filter. Soak it in a solution of two teaspoons of mild detergent in warm water for 15 minutes. Rinse with clean water. Let it air dry in the shade before putting it back in split unit.
  4. Replace the front panel.
