The Whirlpool Duet washer is a washing machine front loading, energy efficiency. This artifact is located under the filter plate front protection, and its function is to collect lint falls off the clothes during the wash process. The lint filter should be cleaned at least once every 6 months. Otherwise, the lint can pass back through the machine and stick to clothes being washed.

Instructions
- Remove the lower protection plate. Loosen the two screws holding it in place and pull gently to remove it. The shield plate is covered less located outside the washer.
- Place a small bucket under the white hose. Remove the cover by unscrewing the white hose. Let the water left in the hose to drain into the container. There should be plenty of water, but there may be something.
- Look inside the white hose. Remove any visible obstruction or lint.
- Look inside the cover of the hose. This is where the lint screen is. Remove any visible fluff with fingers. Rinse the cover with warm water hose to remove any lint.
- Turn the cap in white hose. Place the cover plate in place. Screw it again.
