Cleaning
There are a number of oils and other products that can loosen and remove the compounds of putty window glass. Goo Gone or Easy Off oven cleaner, which is made very difficult for dirt work on the putty window, but it takes some time, as you have to apply it, let it settle in the sun for fifteen to twenty minutes then scrape with a chisel or a razor blade. Hammer and chisel

Heat gun
An innovative way to remove caulk the window panes of taking a gun heat high power and slowly move it along the panel to soften and release the putty window frame. The putty will heat up and can easily be scraped with a knife or chisel. If you can get a gun heat, this could be the most effective method to remove the putty. However, heat also heats the glass putty significantly and can cause breakage, so be sure not to hold the gun heat too close to the glass.
